The Gefen DisplayPort Mate is a cable coupler solution that allows two separate DisplayPort cables to be connected together without losing the audio/video signal integrity. Increase the range of a DisplayPort monitor, or place a computer away from a DisplayPort monitor at a comfortable and convenient distance.

How It Works

Connect DisplayPort cables to each conne ctor on the Gefen DisplayPort Mate. Doing this creates a longer and more flexible cable to make connections to DisplayPort equipment and/or DisplayPort displays more convenient. Gefen DisplayPort Mate couples two cables, transmitting the signal pin-to-pin. Note: The Gefen DisplayPort Mate is a non-powered, passive cable coupler unit, transmitting the signal pin-to-pin.
